Job Purpose

To work with the Marketing Data Analyst and wider marketing team to provide data and valuable insights that deliver successful marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, awards, and digital products in line with agreed KPI's.

Job Summary/Responsibilities

 
  • Support effective database management, ensuring all records are valid and kept-up-to-date.
  • Segment data sets for use in marketing campaigns across multiple channels i.e. email, SMS, telemarketing or direct mail
  • Conduct data cleaning, merging and standardisation to improve and ensure quality of data
  • Assist for registration stages before show or onsite registration during events.
  • Work along-side existing team members to build, update & manage reporting
  • Ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to
  • Work with relevant colleagues or suppliers to capture relevant and timely data from multiple sources i.e. onsite & post-show surveys, registration forms, industry research.
  • Monitor weekly call centre reports and support relationship with the call centre supervisor according to the brief given.
  • Provide pre-agreed reports during and post campaign to monitor channel effectiveness and ROI
  • Assist with other ad hoc data related tasks as required i.e. supplier payments, invoices follow up

  • Educated to Degree level and/or a proven track record of using data for marketing

  • Understanding of segmentation / advanced targeting methods
  • Advanced MS Excel skills

Desired

 
  • Experience of working with an Email Service Provider i.e. Adestra
  • Experience of Marketing Automation systems would be very advantageous
 
 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Extract segments of data for marketing department to use to fulfil campaigns i.e. email, SMS, telemarketing or direct mail
  • Manage and format any files for import into the Informa database or fulfilment purposes
  • Conduct data cleaning and standardisation of data to improve and ensure quality of data
  • Monitor weekly reports call centre reports and manage relationship with the call centre supervisor
  • Analyse and share insights from campaign and data tracking, as well as any key customer segments for weekly in-flight campaigns
  • Support marketing in the production or online & onsite badge management with 3rd parties
  • Assist registration companies at onsite registration area during events
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and data requests for Marketing functions
  • Share relevant insights with marketing managers to drive revenues or pursue new opportunities
  • Work with relevant colleagues or suppliers to capture relevant and timely data (onsite & post show surveys, registration forms, industry research etc)
  • Work with internal teams to ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to
  • Provide pre-agreed reports during and post campaign to monitor channel effectiveness and ROI
  • Use recommended dashboards daily to monitor performance
  • Communication and follow up with customers and key stakeholders as required
  • Manage invoices and payments with suppliers where needed
  • Become part of a culture of testing and metrics-driven decision making in the team

 

Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Highly analytical with a data-driven approach and mindset
  • Experience of working with databases and data software and analysing large data sets.
  • Understanding of data warehouse software or data visualisation tools (Tableau)
  • Database development and growth including segmentation / advanced targeting
  • Fast learner and committed to personal development and growth
  • Deadline and target driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English
  • Excellent use of MS Office including advanced Excel skill and intermediate PowerPoint & Word
  • Good to know using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua) or email marketing
  • Good to know marketing analytics and reporting platforms (Google Analytics/Adobe or others)
