Summary 

Informa Markets is seeking a dynamic and potential candidate to work for various B2B trade exhibitions as an assistant event executive. The candidate will support and work with the event team to facilitate day to day marketing and event management tasks. One will have chance to work with international colleagues, vendors and partners to curate special events and marketing initiatives from ideas development to implementation.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support the design of the Event experience, ensuring a high quality level of delivery in support of the Event’s strategy and customer needs
  • Develop deep industry knowledge through internal and external relationships
  • Build Event loyalty with customers in understanding both specific and wider market needs, feeding trends / issues back into the Event Manager as input to Event strategy
  • Work closely with Marketing team on event marketing planning and execution to ensure excellent customer experience in all relevant channels
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure all elements of the Event are in alignment to set up for success
  • At the Event, one will support the on-site delivery and setup, supporting logistics for exhibitors and team members
  • Support the Event Manager in overseeing the event floor plan, managed by the Sales Operations team, escalating any strategic decisions where required
  • Develop and improve the customer experience at each event, ensuring feedback is collated, highlighted and incorporated
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned 
     

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree or above in Marketing, Event Management or related discipline
  • Experience in project or exhibition/event management is preferred 
  • Excellent communication and strong organisational skills are highly required
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Knowledge and skills in digital and social media marketing communications is required
  • Attention to details, able to work under pressure and tight deadline
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills 
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and implementation 
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in trade exhibition are welcome to apply
