SALES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

What we're looking for:

Working within our Events Sales Operations team, the Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for leading the charge with projects and processes for this team. This position reports to the Sales Operations Manager, and supports the event sales team, with a focus on communication, top notch customer service, and sales operations. Responsibilities include project management, database management, general reporting and process documentation.

You are accountable for:

  • Manage the event rebook processes pre-show, on-site and post-show for up to 7 events annually
  • Manage project deadlines and delegate tasks to support staff
  • Develop and maintain process documents
  • Data entry to support show logistics
  • Travel to multiple events to facilitate on-site rebooking
  • General reporting in Salesforce
  • Provide layout and ongoing maintenance support for floor plans
  • Use project management software to create team projects and track deadlines
  • Provide Salesforce support and training to new staff within the Sales and Sales Operations

What you bring to the team:

  • 3-5 years of customer service, administrative support, or systems support experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Highly organized with excellent ability to balance multiple projects at once, and prioritize tasks as needed
  • Above average problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Very comfortable working in a deadline driven environment
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems

Other Preferred Attributes (Helpful, but not required):

  • Experience managing projects and deadlines
  • Experience developing and delivering processes to be used by others
  • Experience using project management software
  • Experience with Microsoft Access a plus
  • Experience with ExpoCAD preferred but not required
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
