The Role
The conference producer will produce industry relevant conference programmes in line with the needs of the markets we serve.
The conference producer will help to develop and grow the healthcare content team by generating new content ideas – whether physically or digitally, able to come up with new revenue opportunities and identify potential collboration opportunities across the portfolio.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
These responsibilities should be applicable to both physical and virtual aspects.
Produce industry relevant conference programmes
Liaise with key professionals/institutions and companies in the production of conference programmes
To research and contact potential speakers and confirm their attendance
Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market
Develop new conference ideas and programme content through tele-research and meetings
Provide up to date and useable speaker lists and files for event management to follow up
Prepare all necessary briefs, conference agenda, CME applications, telesales briefs
Assist in the provision of leads to the sponsorship team
Work with the Content Director and other team members to produce ideas for conferences
Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies within that area
Maintain existing and build new relationships with key experts in particular fields
Look at and identify new opportunities consisently throughout the year that could potentially increase revenue across the business
Assist the marketing department in the creation of certain marketing materials (e.g. conference brochures)
Write high level invitation to industry experts for the conferences
Liaise and research with speakers, delegates and clients at our show’s aswell as ad hoc in person meetings
