Head of Technology Transformation


We’re searching for an experienced technology transformation leader to join our horizontal technology team which supports Informa’s Tech, Connect and Intelligence divisions.  A new role, the HOTT will partner the divisional leadership teams in Informa Tech and Informa Connect to build, own and deliver the three-year technology roadmap and resulting project portfolios.  These involve multi-million pound investments into a range of capabilities including content management, lead-to-cash, insights and analytics and multi-channel martech plus an ongoing programme of business/system integration following extensive acquisitions and reorganisations.  This role will also oversee the demand and investment management processes, running a PMO function and managing a small internal team of project resources (scaling up through flexible resourcing models) to ensure effective delivery of change programmes and projects.

To succeed in this challenging but fulfilling role, you will already have significant experience in a similar role (ideally in a large global organisation).  You’ll be expected to become a trusted partner - building strong relationships, translating business goals and needs into resulting technology transformation plans. You will ensure the quality of our thinking and delivery across the entire transformation agenda is exceptional, spanning both digital and enterprise technology projects. 


You’ll have senior gravitas to effectively influence at all levels.  You will thrive on a challenge and solving impossible problems – and are comfortable with some organisational chaos and continuous change. A superlative communicator, you can see where communication gaps exist and fix them, always maintaining a positive and gracious manner.  You will enjoy driving meaningful change and innovation and have a track record of bringing people along the journey with you. You’ll have great leadership skills and are comfortable managing teams and looking after people’s career growth. Keen to take accountability and ownership, you can work under pressure and meet deadlines with excellent organisational skills.
