The Compensation Analyst assists the Head of Data & Compensation in the analysis, design and administration of the Division’s compensation programs. The key deliverables for this position include executing compensation analysis when delivering new plan designs to the Division, supporting the annual merit increase review process, and executing/delivering bonus plan documents to key stakeholders for distribution and communication to eligible colleagues.   This role also provides additional compensation support to the Head of Data & Compensation as well as the Division’s HR community and Division Leadership in other key projects and new initiatives throughout the year.


  • Collaborates with the Head of Data & Compensation on a variety of compensation programs, including annual merit increase reviews, annual REMCO exercise (bonus scheme planning and distribution) and the implementation of other compensation programs.
  • Assists Head of Data & Compensation, HR community and leadership with compensation related inquiries.
  • Works directly with the Head of Data & Compensation during the acquisition process to ensure a smooth transition under the Informa umbrella for compensation related programs.
  • Manages projects such as survey participation and provides salary benchmarking data when needed.
  • Works with the HR community and Management to conduct job analysis and documentation; evaluates new roles and changing roles to ensure internal alignment and regulatory compliance.
  • Works closely with the Data Analyst role to ensure compensation data is updated in HRIS to reflect changes to bonus and commission programs.
  • Prepares statistical analysis, data modeling and costing of variable pay programs as needed.
  • Work with Head of Data & Compensation along with Finance partners and HR Community to streamline and document the compensation administration process.


  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or HR Qualification e g. SHRM or equivalent is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of related work experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills, including a firm grasp of mathematical concepts.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work witt1 a wide range of colleagues, including colleagues residing in Finance, Human Resources and Division Leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to transform data into strategic business analytics.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and has a solution focused approach. combined with adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
