Informa Tech are seeking a Sales Operations professional with an insatiable drive for success.  Applicants must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly motivated and self-driven. Applicants must also be capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment, handling daily tasks including, but not limited to: Salesforce administration, customer service, financial reporting, new business nurturing, and leading re-sign campaign efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assuming responsibility for sales process and overall operations within the immediate sales team
  • Responsible for maintaining data integrity in Salesforce and assisting sales team as needed with drafting and managing all booth and sponsorship contracts
  • Establishing customized activity and forecasting reports on a weekly basis
  • Assisting Sales Managers with client outreach and customer service
  • Responsible for driving quality control standards within the immediate sales team, and within outside operational teams throughout execution of an agreement
  • Control of inventory product status – reporting and tracking all inbound/outbound contracts
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure clients have a seamless transition post sale
  • Point person for all inquiries from the accounting department
  • Responsible to communicate all contract revisions/cancellations to the appropriate teams
  • Maintain a SPEX Marketing schedule alongside the Marketing Manager
  • Manage a re-sign campaign pre-show and on-site
  • Additional projects as needed

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Detail oriented and organized while being able to understand the big picture
  • Excellent follow through with external and internal clients
  • Ability to be self-directed and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to grow the business and find new revenue opportunities.
  • General knowledge of sales principles and practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills via telephone, email and in-person
  • Ability to select the appropriate form of communication for a given situation
  • Able to travel for Domestic & International multi-day, overnight stays several times per year
  • Proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Salesforce
