This is two-fold: As the Head of Sales Operations ensure the efficient and effective execution of Informa Intelligence’s Order-to-Cash and Order-to-Fulfilment business processes, evidenced by timeliness and accuracy in Informa Intelligence’s invoicing and product delivery to customers, and in its sales reporting to commercial leadership and senior management.  Effectively manage the relationship with the UK Shared service centre ensuring sales spend little to no time resolving process related problems.

As the Head of Sales Enablement you must ensure all Salesforce users are fully trained in all aspects of the CRM system so Salesforce’s capabilities that maximise new business & renewal sales are fully utilised.  Understanding the commercial goals of the business and ensuring training and Salesforce development is in place to support and exceed these goals

In combination your role ensures the optimisation of sales through each stage of the pipeline and then into post sale support through well understood and used, systems and processes. 

As part of Informa Intelligence’s & Techs central Business Operations function the Sales Operations team acts as a service provider to the Informa Intelligence & Tech Verticals, ensuring the validity of sales contracts that are accepted by the business for revenue recognition and product fulfilment. In collaboration with Informa Intelligence’s Client Services function and the Informa Group Shared Service Centres, the Sales Operations team ensures that the downstream order processes are executed and that any queries or changes are promptly and appropriately resolved.

This will be achieved by:

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Understanding of best practices in sales order processing
  • Past management experience
