As Marketing Manager for the Automotive event division, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of marketing campaigns across a portfolio of global B2B Automotive Technology conferences and exhibitions. The business has grown rapidly in the past year following the merger of three brands; TU Automotive, WardsAuto and Wards Intelligence to form the Informa Tech Automotive Portfolio. The successful candidate will play a key role in determining the new portfolio brand, positioning the business to the market, and facilitating integration across all systems.


This role is ideal for someone with solid conference and events marketing experience who is keen to take the next step into management. As the portfolio integrates, this individual will be exposed to marketing across the product portfolio including that of intelligence reports, subscriptions, and digital marketing services.


Job Responsibilities:

๐Ÿš—Define and implement the marketing strategy for Informa's Automotive conferences and exhibitions to generate sales leads and direct delegate revenue.
๐Ÿš—Plan, budget and implement effective marketing campaigns to drive sponsorship, delegate, VIP and visitor numbers.
๐Ÿš—Manage the implementation of a variety of tactics from direct to digital, from personal selling to advertising, ensuring all KPIs and deadlines are met. Digital Marketing is a key focus for this role. Website, SEO, Email and Social Media experience vital. 
๐Ÿš—Management of Senior Campaign Marketer/ Campaign Marketer day-to-day activities.
๐Ÿš—Completion of messaging house document and effective communication of brand to internal and external stakeholders.
๐Ÿš—Responsible for audience profiling: understanding the automotive technology marketplace.
๐Ÿš—Explore new marketing and innovate current tactics to drive growth.
๐Ÿš—Support on data build to ensure entire automotive tech ecosystem is represented.
๐Ÿš—Fulfilment and delivery of sponsorship and media partner packages.
๐Ÿš—Identify and build key industry partnerships/ influencers across media, associations, and press.
๐Ÿš—Assist in the system integration of all platforms currently used by the Informa Tech Automotive Portfolio.
๐Ÿš—Ensure good levels of communication across both businesses between production, VIP, logistics, telesales, sales and marketing.
๐Ÿš—Review campaign analysis regularly to ensure efficacy.
๐Ÿš—Weekly reporting to the wider Informa Tech Automotive on both channel and behavioural marketing metrics.

Essential Experience:

๐Ÿš—Previous international B2B conference and exhibition marketing experience.
๐Ÿš—Experience working on a variety of MarTech, including CRM, CMS and Email Automation. (Previous experience of Eloqua or Salesforce a plus).
๐Ÿš—Strong analytical skills.
๐Ÿš—Familiar with the concept of Community-Based Marketing and keen to work in an environment that promotes these principles.
๐Ÿš—Working knowledge of Google AdWords and Analytics.
๐Ÿš—Strong digital marketing skills and demonstrable achievement in web, email and social media marketing.
๐Ÿš—Interest in how technology is disrupting traditional industries.
๐Ÿš—Ability to multi-task, prioritise, work to tight deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
๐Ÿš—Desire to take ownership of tasks and projects.
๐Ÿš—Proactive approach to strategy.
๐Ÿš—Ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external customers.
๐Ÿš—Adaptable to a changing and fast-paced working environment.

Desirable Experience:

๐Ÿš—Experience in Eloqua, Salesforce, Core, Buffer, Sprinklr or Google Analytics.
๐Ÿš—App management experience.
๐Ÿš—Knowledge of Canva and Adobe design suite.
๐Ÿš—Basic web design skills.
๐Ÿš—Experience managing, motivating and developing a team.
