We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Executive/ Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Books marketing division. We are looking for an experienced influencer marketer to join us in a new role specialising in the customer engagement programs, ensuring top-of-mind brand awareness and shaping our product offerings to meet the customer’s varied needs.
Self-generate or commission media such as presentations, infographics, photographic & video content, or/and manage freelancers to produce content.
Work with content teams to produce and re-purpose relevant content for driving relationship building with customer groups and lead generation for the sales teams.
Work with key association and media partners to secure external promotions to broaden reach and exposure of the brand. Track and monitor results of partnerships.
Undertake and support market research to understand customer, competitor and market developments, feeding outcomes into own plans and those of wider department.
Support the Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager in planning and implementing subject or team level campaigns.
Analyse and report on campaign results using the full suite of tools available
Periodic travel to conferences and exhibitions and/or carry out other customer-facing activities, reporting back as required
Knowledge and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Degree level or equivalent professional qualification
A good level of experience in multimedia production or editing in a commercial setting, with knowledge of Adobe Premiere or similar. Knowledge of production skills, from storyboarding, shooting to editing, and an ability to take any topic & bring out the most interesting aspects.
Ability to direct freelancers.
Knowledge and ability with IT systems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point), web/cloud based databases, CMS, email creation platforms and/or other bespoke IT systems.
Demonstrable customer and commercial awareness – including the competitive environment, potential partner organisations and market trends.
Must be customer-centric and comfortable handling and analyzing data, with a driven commitment to improving marketing engagement..
