Key Responsibilities

The Finance Analyst is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

  • Review and provide feedback on Financials for project documentation
  • Project and Programme Budget and Forecast planning
  • Approve, capture and monitor the progress of project spends, investigating variances where needed
  • Assist with capturing type of Spend CAPEX/OPEX/Integration
  • Perform financial forecasting and reporting for programme management
  • Liaise with project PMO team for actual queries
  • Liaise with Finance SSC for actual reporting

 

People Management Responsibilities

  • Support communication structures across the team to ensure all key messages are communicated
  • Act as a role model to others

 

Knowledge & Qualification

  • 2 – 3 years’ accounting experience
  • Recognised qualification/Accounting degree preferable (SSC Specific)
  • Previous experience of Project/Programme accounting
  • Knowledge of SAP/Oracle

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Intermediate skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments and key contacts
  • Act with integrity, tact and diplomacy
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible within role
