The Treasury Manager is a key operational role within the central treasury team, reporting into the Assistant Group Treasurer. It is integral to the Group’s proactive management of cash and guarantees. It is a role with significant internal and external stakeholder management..


Key Responsibilities

The Treasury Manager Treasury Infrastructure is expected to assume the following key responsibilities:


  • Supporting the Assistant Treasurer with the management of the transactional banking services of the Group, including bank account management, merchant acquiring services, credit card facilities and bank guarantees


  • Assisting in developing the global banking strategy, minimising the interest charge and banking fees


  • Managing relationships with banking and system providers globally


  • Driving change management projects, such as changing banking providers, rationalisation of accounts and implementation & upgrades in Treasury systems 


  • Performing the Middle Office activities for Treasury, such as Regulation reporting, documentation, compliance and confirmations


  • Managing the Group’s trade finance facilities and limits ensuring banks are able to support the business’ requirements globally


  • Coordination and implementation of Treasury areas for the integration of acquired companies


  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting counterparty risk


  • Providing cover for the 3rd line cover for the Front Office in exceptional circumstances and in line with segregation of duties requirements


  • Assisting on projects with the Assistant Treasurer on an ad hoc basis














Technical skills required

  • The candidate must have international Corporate Treasury  experience
  • The candidate must have specific cash and banking experience
  • Knowledge and TMS and payments/back office systems is highly desirable
  • Experience of guarantees is highly desirable


Skills & Abilities



  • Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA) and a track record of continuous professional and management development would be an advantage
  • Must be AMCT qualified or working towards it
  • Evidence of recent management and leadership development
