Job Summary/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for commercial result and P&L. Review and revise budgets on a quarterly basis
  • Drive digital sales with the existing product porfolio, while leading the team and shaping up future strategy for digital revenue
  • Develop insight into customers’ needs in healthcare working with colleagues and community
  • Identify and assess new online products and value propositions appropriate for our customers
  • Lead development of new state-of-the-art data solutions, such as bespoke data sets and industry trend reports
  • Set three-year strategy for the digital business, in close collaboration with all internal stakeholders
  • Deliver that strategy while delivering profitable digital revenue to event and digital budgets
  • Manage day to day operations and inventory for omniahealth.com, digital exhibitor directories, display advertisng on event websites, targeted EDM and retargeting campaigns among other sources of digital revenue
  • Take the lead in improving digital operations and customer experience
  • Lead and develop a multi-functional team that includes Product / Project management, Sales, Marketing and Customer Fulfilment
  • Coach and develop team; building their careers as you build the business
  • Work closely with exhibitions senior team and other sales, marketing and technology leaders both in Dubai and globally to deliver on strategy
  • Operate as an advocate for digital products and within Informa Markets
  • Continuously engage with all Informa divisions that generate a high level of digital revenue to highlight potential cross-divisional collaboration opportunities and new revenue streams
  • Work with sales leaders to set commissions and incentives to deliver digital revenue targets

Skills required

  • Experience of setting, revising and delivering budgets

  • Track record of launching and operationally managing online information products and services
  • Healthcare industry market experience or knowledge strongly preferred
