Job Accountabilities:

  • Work with VP of Divisional Marketing to define & deliver marketing best practise
  • Drive implementation and adoption of marketing technology   
  • Optimise marketing engagement team effectiveness and establish performance baselines for team members
  • Develop marketing support processes and manage improvement initiatives to improve performance of GE marketing campaigns
  • Work with divisional teams to deliver transformation marketing projects within Informa Markets

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop strategies to fulfil for ‘how do I’ enquiries from GE offices
  • Create annual roadmap for feature / capability benefits within the marketing landscape
  • Work with Learning & Development Manager to identify and define marketing training requirements and delivery
  • Provide frameworks to assist business users in their communication with Digital, Data and IT support teams and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Pro-actively work with stakeholders across departments with to improve the adoption of marketing technology across GE
  • Work with Divisional VPs to support change projects within the GE
  • In conjunction with the Divisional Marketing Team, identify and communicate best practice in terms of delivering optimised web experiences, marketing automation campaigns and data-driven decision making
  • Define and manage KPIs and Metrics to track Marketing Campaign Performance and Best Practise adoption across Informa Markets

 

Communication

  • Create and maintain effective divisional marketing communication channels with business users
  • Establish communication channels with GE’s global (Digital, Data and IT) support teams
  • Proactively identify critical business issues in advance and escalate to the appropriate department head
  • Represent the business (Voice of the Customer/Business) in Informa Markets Support Team calls / meetings

 

Team Leadership

  • Set KPIs and annual objectives for each member of Marketing Engagement Team
  • Provide day to day guidance and support for Marketing Engagement Managers
  • Proactively monitor incidents and requests to, in conjunction with team members, improve service levels, work flows and training materials for GE marketing teams.
  • Set service level agreements/ benchmarks with teams for marketing support
     

Background Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Exceptional communication skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with both business teams and technical teams
  • Previous experience of working with web CMS platforms or marketing automation or analytics applications
  • Previous experience of working in a marketing function or directly with marketing users
  • Demonstrate analytical, logical thinking capability
  • Ability to operate in a high paced demanding environment
  • Ability to prioritise and handle incoming enquiries effectively

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience of Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target
  • Previous experience in the B2B / B2C events marketing  
  • Previous experience of delivering successful business user training programmes
  • Previous experience of working in a multi-site (remote working) business user support role
  • Previous experience of Change Management
  • Previous experience of Marketing Technology Projects
