Lead Analyst, Data & Analytics | Informa Intelligence | Atlanta, GA
The Lead Analyst is an owner of Asset Intelligence data products and primary contributor of insights for EquipmentWatch, Price Digests, CostTrax, and FleetSeek. This position will be responsible for insights and analytics for off-highway equipment and on-highway.
The Lead Analyst will liaise with customers/key partners/industry sources/internal stakeholders to produce, direct and support revenue-generating market analytics projects. The Lead Analyst should be able to be able to translate the data gathered by the Asset Intelligence Group into analytic content containing market trends and research. These will be used as content on the Group’s digital platforms, as well as fueling stand-alone products in the marketplace.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data & analytics combined with research/journalistic flair.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages deliverables with analyst, sales, and marketing teams to ensure content-creation and calculation mesh efficiently
Guides analyst team to new market insights and expertise to refine business objectives and market analytics vision to meet customer needs
Manages projects across the Asset Intelligence business to ensure the product’s data is complete, current, connected, and correct
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to consult, partner, and work effectively with analyst leaders and business partners across cultures and functions.
5 or more years of experience. The ideal candidate has analytics and journalism experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Software: Comfortable with statistical/programming languages like SQL and R
