You will lead on community building and relationship management – with VIPs and other key stakeholders - taking responsibility for a broad range of events within the team of Informa Tech.

The environment is busy and challenging and you must be able to work on multiple projects at once.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for building relationships with the targeted companies with a view to:

  • Securing attendance from the board and C-level executives of the major automakers, insurers, B2C Mobility Providers and tier one companies.
  • Liaise with conference producers, sales team members, speakers and sponsors to identifying key industry community members to invite to conference
  • To communicate via telephone, email, LinkedIn and other relevant channels to past, current and potential new customers, build a relationship, understand their knowledge needs and business issues and invite them to attend the conference, generating more registrations from the target buyer companies to attend the conference as VIPs
  • To work closely with sales and research teams and feedback intelligence gained from the buyers
  • Meet and greet the VIPs onsite at the events, ensure they are looked after and participate in the proposed networking/social programme
  • Ensure that VIPs have a superior customer experience throughout the campaign.
  • Work closely with the event sponsors to maximise the participation of their clients in the event
  • Build strong relationships with these key VIPs to create brand commitment and loyalty.
  • Facilitating the face-to-face introduction of these buyer groups to exhibitors and sponsors via pre-event and onsite introductions
  • Organise VIP Dinners, Breakfast Briefings, Closed-Door Meetings, One to One Meeting Service and securing VIP attendance at these functions and formats
  • Create a comprehensive database of key individuals within target operators and feed this to the wider team – in particular research and sales
  • To up-hold our standards of customer service and respond professionally, diligently and in a timely manner to all customer requests
  • Fulfil as much pre-show administrative work and on-site introductions as necessary to ensure that the networking demands of our sponsorship and exhibitions stakeholders are exceeded so that they will re-sign on site

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and phone manner.
  • Extremely organised, with outstanding time management and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to timescales.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Strong Internet research skills.
  • Proven ability to use initiative when required and to go ‘above and beyond’ in order to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Organisation & ability to multi-task
  • Customer Service orientation, persuasiveness, tenacity and enthusiasm

Essential:

  • Track record of exemplary administration, organisational and customer service skills
  • Able to demonstrate success in building and developing key accounts
  • Must have good face-to-face meeting skills
